How to Link Your National Identification Number (NIN) to Airtel, MTN, 9Mobile (Etisalat) SIM Card

So the linking of your sim cards to your NIN was recently introduced by the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) and they announced that it is mandatory for everyone to do and they have provided guidelines to do so.

The steps are very easy for all networks all you need to do is to dial the USSD Codes provided to you below, and then you will be able to link your NIN to any of your sim cards be it MTN, Airtel, 9mobile or even Glo.

How to Link NIN to MTN

Here are the procedures for MTN for you to link your nin to it.

• Visit here www.mtnonline.com/nin/ to access the form
• You can Dial *785#
• The MyMTN App can perform the NIN Linking operation for MTN
• Click on submit once you have filled the form.
• MTN will provide you with feedback.

How to Link NIN to Airtel

Airtel customers can link their NIN to their Airtel sim card by:

• Dialing *121*1# in order to submit their NIN
• Press 1 for the NIN Capture and send
• Now input your NIN 11-Digits number
• Await a confirmation form Airtel

How to Link NIN to Glo

As a gloworld customer, to link your NIN to your number, simply send UPDATENIN NIN number firstname lastname to 109, for example UpdateNIN 1234567 Johnson Mark then send it to 109 and wait for a confirmation.

How to Link NIN to 9mobile (Etisalat)
